Hi all, 

Thanks so much for your fantastic support unlocking another stretch goal, with awesome new artwork for Chapter 5: Rods, Staves, and Wands, with Nick Fin pushing us over the $20,000 mark to get there! Next up, another installment of Classy Magic Items for the bodacious bard class, and then a new addition to our legion of hoard guardians with the glamorous gold golem! 

A couple of additional quick notes for you! 

1.  We had a glitch in the code we set up for the FREE issue of The Dragon's Hoard #2 that was sending people to a pay link. Apologies for the glitch but we've got it reset to free now for the PDF version on DrivethruRPG! Head on over and grab a copy to peruse today! 

2.  If you are planning to select the Enchant an Item add-on pledge or if you are one of our amazing Ultimate Enchanters, we encourage you to start working on your magic item ASAP and send us your item (and a description of your item, for Ultimate Enchanters, so we can get artists going) to [email protected]. For most backers, this involves creating your own item conforming to 5E rules, but if you just have an item concept and you'd like our team to create your item, we can do that too. 

3.  If you are an Ultimate Retailer, send your information ASAP so we can validate your store and let us know the items you'd like to order, and we can get your arrangements set up.

We are excited and delighted by the strong response to our latest project, one we've been working on since 2020 and Real Life (TM) just kept getting in the way. Now that it's here, we are so happy to share it with you and want to express our appreciation for passing 250% of our funding goal in the first half-day! We offer a special shout-out to Jack (backer #100) and Happy 'Hoo (backer #200), as well as my old high-school buddy Rob who was so quick on the draw on this project that he got to be backer #1!

We've already cracked our first stretch goal, adding new artwork for the book for Chapter 6: Armor and Shields, and we've already commissioned new armor for the screecher shield, boneless leather, and armor of insults, along with the brand-new impervious cuirass illustration that just came back (hey, we were sure we'd get this stretch goal done so already started ordering stuff) in the nick of time to drop into our stretch goal graphic. Check out the final on the cuirass and the WIP (work-in-progress) on the armor of insults that we're adding to the book thanks to YOU! 

NEXT UP: At $15,000, we've got our first of many Classy Magic Items stretch goals, with a fistful of fantastic new items specifically designed for the barbarian class! We might already be there by the time I wake up in the morning!!!
