Hi all,

Exciting news on three bullet points for you! 

1.  Books! Our printer just emailed to let us know our 6-pack of pre-press copies of the Ultimate Treasury are on their way via FedEx! Once we receive them, we'll post up pictures and do a random drawing of our awesome backers and send out early copies to the lucky numbers! 

2.  Cards! We've reveiwed all of the soft proofs, done final error correction, and also discovered duplicate artwork across the several years we were creating these decks. We've acquired new artwork to sub in for those duplicates (save for a few items like greater/lesser versions where the art is the same on purpose) and sent those back to the printer for final adjustments but hopefully should be able to start printing cards next week! Meanwhile, I'm loading up the new card deck PDFs on Backerkit and Drivethru today, so you can download them there! 

3.  Mediterranean Monsters! A few weeks back we mentioned our new Mediterranean Monsters 5E Kickstarter, which ends in just 3 days on Thursday, July 27! This magnificent monster book is soaring over 140 amazing monsters from the marvelous mythologies of Greece, Italy, Malta, Sardinia, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, and Libya! Plus, we've unlocked a third adventure for the Greek-inspired Mother of Monsters Adventure Path, bringing that spectacular saga to 400 pages of killer content with the new adventures False Propheciesand A Threatened Democracy to really make the mythology of the Mediterranean come to life in an epic campaign! Book printing nearly complete, card printing about to begin!

Hi all, 

Our printer says our print run should be through the queue shortly, and I look forward to getting our box of half a dozen preview copies by FedEx once they are ready to go. Once they arrive, I'll draw the names of some lucky backers at random to get their books early! The remaining books will then go into the shipping container queue and begin the process of making their way to us.

One of the things we've been waiting for in this process has been finalizing our card decks with the printer, which has been a longer process than we had expected. We'd only done cards once before and with a different printer, and we are doing SIX separate decks of Legendary Loot Cards, so getting those all set up has taken some time but the sixth and final deck (which came in at a whopping 103 cards, vs. the others that are all right around 80) has finally cleared approvals and we look forward to getting test prints to review soon. 

The PDF for this card deck has been uploaded to Backerkit, and all backers who ordered Legendary Loot Cards as part of their pledge can download this bonus card deck right now with our thanks for your patience and support for this project. It's been a long road, but these books and cards are going to be a delight when they arrive! 

As fans of Legendary Games, we also want to invite you to check out our latest project, the Mediterranean Monsters Kickstarterthat is going on right now! This two-pronged project includes a beautiful bestiary book with over 130 (and could get as high as 150) killer creatures from the legends and lore of Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Malta, and Sardinia.

Hi all,

We just returned home from our long trip overseas, and waiting for us on arrival back were the ozalids and ink-plotter review sheets for Ultimate Treasury! 

We've combed through the proofs one final time, finding a few errant indentations or italics, a few mis-numbered tables, etc., and those corrections have been sent over to layout for re-export on those pages, after which the printing process can begin at last. I'm pleased to report the book is looking beautiful and you are going to be delighted with the final product when it lands in your hands. Given past experience, our best guess is that the print books will arrive around the end of summer, and once they are in our hands we can start shipping them out to you! 

That big trip we mentioned was in part a research trip to meet with freelancers and visit historical sites and collect folklore for our next great monster project, because Mediterranean Monsters 5E is coming this month to Kickstarter! We visited Morocco, Spain, and Portugal, meeting with contributors and doing research (in addition to some vacation time and going to a wedding) in preparation for our next exciting Kickstarter project coming your way with our latest Legendary Beasts book - Mediterranean Monsters! 

Following in the grand tradition of supplements like Mythos Monsters, Sea Monsters, Asian Monsters, Latin American Monsters, and of course Mechanical Monsters, this book will feature over a hundred killer creatures from the marvelous mythologies of Greece, Italy, Malta, Sardinia, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, and Libya, complete with awesome artwork and rich lore.

We'll probably run this as two separate projects, the first as 5E with the bonus we'll be offering the extended 2nd (and hopefully 3rd) chapters of the Greek-inspired Mother of Monsters Adventure Path to really make a campaign drawing on the mythology of the Mediterranean come to life! That AP only exists for 5E, so it makes the most sense to bundle those parts together.

However, we already have our PF1 and PF2 teams working on it as well and will then do a followup campaign for both Pathfinder versions of the bestiary. We hope you'll check it out and share the good news with your friends and fellow gamers!

We will be launching this project later this month, but our talented team has already been hard at work for quite some time and this book is coming together and looking fantastic! Please share the pre-release link with all your friends and fellow gamers and help hype it up!

Missing Spell!

Hi all, 

One of our eagle-eyed backers Sean W. noticed that a spell was missing from the book! It is referenced in the magic item called the musical staff, and it was originally published in The Dragon's Hoard #18 and our Legendary Loot Patreon, but looks like we missed including it in the big Ultimate Treasury book, so I'm copying it for you here! 

SOLID NOTE

Conjuration cantrip

Casting Time: 1 action

Components: V

Range: 30 feet

Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute

Classes: bard

You give physical form to a single musical note that floats suspended anywhere within range. This music note can be spiked or smooth, simple or convoluted, and any color you wish, and you may cause it to shed light as a candle.  The solid note is the size of your hand. The solid note is stationary, and any creature trying to move through the space it occupies must either squeeze around it (if there is enough room to allow squeezing) or must push past it with a successful Strength check (DC 10 + your proficiency modifier). You also can hang objects from the solid note, as it can support up to 500 pounds. If you overload the solid note or a creature succeeds on their Strength check against it, it disappears. The solid note also can be attacked; it is AC 10 and has 1 hit point.
